The cross is a path of ascension and perfection, ascension from the field of finiteness of the sensory world to the firmament of the Cosmic Consciousness of this transcendental Self. Self-liberation from all kinds and all forms of limitations is the sole purpose of life and the ultimate goal of human existence as an individual self. Soul must regain its inalienable right and unalterable destiny of spiritual freedom in the realization of its eternal divine nature and innate perfection of the Self.
